On 23 March 1973, Mr Georges Aebischer, Mr Lucien Rouiller and Mr Charles Zumwald joined forces to found PROGRESSIA Verwaltungsgesellschaft AG with a share capital of CHF 200,000, retaining the premises at 30 Rue St-Pierre in Fribourg. All three founders are shareholders and members of the Board of Directors, with Georges Aebischer appointed Chairman of the Board.

PROGRESSIA becomes a member of the International Group of Accounting Firms (IGAF), an association of independent accounting firms, which later changes its name to IGAF Worldwide.

Change of company name to PROGRESSIA Fiduciary and Management Company Ltd.

Following the entry into force of the Federal Law on Combating Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism on 1 January 2000, PROGRESSIA is recognized as a duly regulated financial intermediary.
